Alexei Barkov

From 1969 till 1992 worked at the Central Research Institute for Naval Electrotechnics on positions from Engineer up to Head of the department.

Since 1993 scientific leader and Director of the Association VAST.

Founder of the vibration diagnostics scientific school, author of the well known methods of condition diagnostics by vibration - enveloping methods, pulsating torques methods, modern methods for automated condition monitoring and diagnostics by vibration and drive motor current. Expert in applied diagnostics.

Member of the TC 183 "Shock and vibration", TC 183/CK "Personnel certification in technical diagnostics and vibration tests" of the Federal Agency on Technical Control and Metrology.

Author of more than 100 publications and  20 patents.

Iosif Ioudin

Director, Head of Design

Graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical University. Specialized in applied mathematics. Ph D.

1976- 1992 worked at Central Research Institute for Naval Electrotechnics.

Since 1992 leader of the software design, Director of the Association VAST.

Designed the first in the world automatic condition diagnostic system for rotating equipment.

Has a number of publications and patents.

Natalia Barkova

Director of Educational Center

Graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding University. Specialized in measurement instrumentation design. Ph. D.

1969 - 1974 Engineer in HydroPribor research institute.

Since 1974 lectured in the Leningrad Shipbuilding University.

Since 2001 Director of the North-Western Educational Center.

Author of the training programs and methods on vibration diagnostics, monitoring, balancing.

Author of more than 100 publications, including two textbooks. Has 10 patents.

Member of the New York Academy of Sciences.


Anton Azovtsev

Director International Operations

Graduated from the Leningrad State University, department of Physics.

Since 1992 works at VAST starting from the engineer on the digital signal processing up the Director International Operations.

Expert in vibration analysis and condition diagnostics.

Delivers training and seminars on condition monitoring, diagnostics, balancing.

Has a number of publications.
